LC ResinCal PC

Bioactive light cure resin reinforced pulp capping material with MTA-fillers

Effective and bioactive resin modified MTA cement.

LC ResinCal PC  is a bioactive light-cure resin reinforced pulp capping material with MTA-fillers. The release of calcium-ions promotes the formation of tertiary dentine. The result is a safe pulp protection. The high alkaline pH level has bactericidal effects and thus supports healing and protects against hypersensitivity, LC ResinCal PC is moisture tolerant, insoluble and shows a high radiopacity.

Light cure of LC ResinCal PC ensures controlled setting. After 40 seconds of light curing the next clinical step is possible.

Indications

1- Direct pulp capping for any pulpal exposures, including:

  • Carious pulp exposure
  • Mechanical pulp exposure
  • Pulp exposures due to trauma

2- Indirect pulp capping agent in deep preparations:

  • Under amalgam restorations
  • Under cements
  • Under Class I and Class II composite restorations
  • As an alternative to calcium hydroxide

Advantages

  • Treatment of deciduous and adult teeth
  • Calcium release and a high pH value (pH 11)
  • Moisture tolerant and virtually no solubility
  • Thixotropic properties
  • Time saving, next clinical step treatment can be continued immediately
  • Stimulates tertiary dentine formation
  •  Ready to use one component material
